COLOR PALETTE SPOTLIGHT
At 360° Painting Saskatoon, one of the three high quality paint vendors we use to complete our projects is Sherwin Williams. SW has released the color palette below as their Holistic 2017 Color ForecastWe love the subtle, soft colors of this palette. They are a perfect blend of colour and comfort. So, try playing around with a combination of these colours if you are looking for something new and fun in your home.
PRODUCT OF THE MONTH
Thinking of getting around to that spring cleaning soon? This product is a must-have in your household when you do. Trisodium Phosphate Powder (T.S.P) is fantastic when it comes to cleaning, especially degreasing.
A small amount of this powder dissolved in a bucket of water will remove grease marks and finger prints from your walls as well as effectively clean your kitchen and bathroom floors.
360° Painting Saskatoon likes to use this product to prepare walls for painting by using a larger amount of the powder dissolved in water so that it gives the walls a rougher surface after being washed. This allows the paint to adhere to the wall better.
And, although we haven’t tried it ourselves, we have heard that using a thick solution of this product on oil and grease stains on garage floors, will get rid of those troublesome stains.
Lastly, this product is completely affordable, sitting at a price range of $3-$11 usually, based on the size you buy, and it’s easy to find at any of your local DIY stores.
OUR MONTHLY UPDATE
January 12th – 16th marked the dates of our annual 360 Painting international conference. We gladly jumped on a plane to Mexico to attend, seeing as it meant leaving behind -31°C weather in Saskatoon.
We met other 360 Painting franchise owners from all over the United States and Canada. It was great to get to know them and hear about their successes and struggles. We especially loved the family atmosphere that 360 Painting corporate created for all of us and welcomed us into. After 4 days of conference meetings and afternoons visiting with everyone, we reluctantly left sunny, bright mexico and returned to Saskatoon (although we can’t complain because when we returned it was only -1
°C).The rest of January was spent putting into action everything we learned at our conference, completeing paint jobs and gearing up for the month of February!
