After approving our free estimate, here's what to expect during your exterior painting project:

1. Consultation: We offer expert advice on paint finishes and types, including samples. Our partnerships with leading brands like Sherwin-Williams help you find the perfect paint for your exterior.
2. Property Protection: We take great care to safeguard your landscaping, grills, outdoor furniture, and other outdoor features by securing or covering them with tarps and drop cloths to prevent paint drips and splatters.
3. Preliminary Walk-Through: Our on-site supervisor conducts a thorough walk-through with you before the project begins to confirm exactly what you want and how you want it.
4. Surface Preparation: We ensure optimal surface adhesion by:
   • Removing dirt and mildew using biodegradable detergent or bleach
   • Scraping and sanding away peeling or flaking paint
   • Spot priming, caulking, and applying putty as needed
   • Evaluating and addressing any rotten or broken wood
   • Securing loose boards, moldings, and protruding nails
5. Window and Fixture Preparation: We protect windows during the painting process, potentially removing screens if necessary. We also remove and later replace items like downspouts, storm windows, and shutters. This might incur additional costs, but we'll keep you informed!
6. Repair Evaluation: We may consult with you about minor repairs that could protect your long-term investment. Any extra charges for repairs are decided beforehand with you.
7. Painting: Our professional painting process relies on only high-quality products and our years of experience and practice. We apply all coats of paint, including a finishing coat, following safety guidelines to protect your exterior and our crew.
8. Finishing Touches: We clean up thoroughly after the project is complete, removing all tools and equipment. We ensure your property is left in pristine condition, with only the beautiful new coat of paint as evidence of our work.
9. Final Walk-Through: We conduct our own final inspection and then invite you to join us for a final walk-through. Here, we address any final questions or concerns and ensure that we have exceeded your expectations.
